Two of my more involved stitching projects. Stitched in a different life, around 300 years ago.
If you are a cross stitcher, the mermaid is stitched over one on 25 ct. fabric, Earthdancer on 28 ct. fabric, also over one. Those are my most difficult projects to date. In the end I thought I would never see clearly again (over one on 28 ct. is rather insane for a first time stitching project).
No, I didn't stitch the complete fabric. This is counted cross stitch, btw, not the "pattern printed on fabric" kind. When I think about the quilting and stitching stuff I imported from the USA, I have to go . I'd like to have that money now.
Thank you very much, Jodi! If you want I can see if I still have the mermaid pattern. I would be happy to pass it on to you, as I'm quite sure I won't stitch it again. I started cross stitching because of Earthdancer. I was a quilter only until then. Then I was browsing the net and came upon that pattern. Ordered a kit and the rest is history, as they say. Do let me know about the mermaid.
Oh, that would be fantastic! It's been on my list for ages and I've just never gotten around to buying it, so it would be wonderful if you've still got it. I really do appreciate the offer.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
